In this book there are 3/4 stories, with slappy in it! The first one is about two kids who recently moved due to their parents work. Their parents are scientists and needed to do an experiment on deer. On the first day the two kids went into the woods and found a cabin with an old creepy man in it. And then the man chased them out of the forest. Later into the story, the little boy finds a dog.. or wolf..
